OUR HISTORY

Our journey started way back in 1994

1994
Leatherworld started as a furniture retail outlet in 1994. It was established to meet the need for high quality furniture in the Nigerian market, specializing in the retail of premium quality furniture and accessories by engaging in partnerships with Italian luxury brands.
In 1999 after four particularly rewarding years in Lagos, Leatherworld expanded to serve clients in the nation’s capital Abuja.

In our Continuous expansion, in 2003 Leatherworld opened a spectacular showroom, set on completely new standards in the industry, as the first of its kind, giving our esteemed clients the opportunity of exploring a world of creativity, luxury, and comfort in Raymond Nkoju, Ikoyi Lagos. We also established branches in different locations in Lagos, Joel Ogunnaike GRA in Ikeja, and Alhaji Kannike off Awolowo Road.
The year 2005 saw the commissioning of Concourse industries, an ultramodern factory situated in the Calabar free trade zone to assemble and manufacture world-class furniture. The opening of Concourse industries set the pace as the first truly Nigerian furniture manufacturing company with a continental franchise to serve the local market; as well as export finished items to other West African countries.

Leatherworld Head Office and showroom, Lekki Phase 1 came to fruition, a monumental step in consolidating the company’s position in the industry. A gallery mall of exquisite premium quality furniture in categories of furniture ranges from classic, contemporary, office project, neo classical , custom, simple line collection.
Leatherworld commissioned a premium showroom an architectural masterpiece in Victoria Island. This is a testament of a very strong focused brand and reward from a trusting clientele. Our many endeavors and milestones are indicative of the passion, creativity vision and commitment Leatherworld has to serving our community and clients with integrity and excellence.
